Sal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Financial Planning, from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Prior to that, Sal attended boarding school at Shattuck-St. Mary's in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Sal most recently worked at Vanguard, in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a Team Leader on their brokerage desk, prior to joining our firm. At Financial Plans & Strategies, as an Investment Advisor Representative. Sal is a part of the Investment Committee and helps manage the investment asset allocation system. Sal actively reaches out to clients to help them rollover or transfer their assets to the firm. Sal partners with clients to provide guidance on investments, education projections, and retirement planning.

Sal holds his Series 63 & 65 securities registrations and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Individuals certified by CFP® Board have taken the step to demonstrate their professionalism by voluntarily submitting to the CFP® certification process that includes thorough education, examination, experience and ethical requirements. The CFP® is issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Prerequisites require a designee to hold a Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university as well as three years of full-time personal financial planning experience. In addition, candidates must complete a CFP-board registered program (or hold an accepted designation, degree or license) and take the CFP Certification examination. To maintain certification, the designee is required to complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years and continue to agree to be bound by the Standards of Professional Conduct.
