This holiday season, Financial Plans & Strategies is proud to once again support KIC-IT to collect non-perishable and other items for young adults in need.
Kids in Crisis Intervention Team (KIC-IT) is a non-profit that helps teens and young adults in Johnson County who are homeless or “couch-surfing”. KIC-IT provides a network of support & empowerment for youth to break the cycle of homelessness and promote independence. In Johnson County, there is a drop-in center where youth can get connected with people and programs that offer long-term solutions. There is also a community meal served on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 5-6 pm.
Those interested in donating can drop off their donations at both our Greenwood and North Side offices between now and Monday, December 17th. Financial Plans & Strategies will then deliver the items to KIC-IT before Christmas. Please click on the picture below to see a list of items needed.
